Up and coming events, marshal’s needed!!!
Trackrod Rally Yorkshire - Langdale stage - 24th/25th September
North Humberside Motor Club with Stage Commander Dave Cogan are running a 16 mile stage in Langdale on Friday evening the 24th September and again on Saturday 25th September.
The event its self only has 5 stages and we are running two of them! That is the first & the last.
SS1 is running on Friday evening prov 1st car at 20:00 latest singing on 18:00 we only get the BRC Internationals plus the Landrovers.
SS2 is running on Saturday morning prov 1st car at 12:00 with latest signing on at 10:00. This time we get the full field of competitors including the clubman’s
Should be finished by 18:00.
As I am away on holiday for two weeks at the end of August I need to start sorting out my marshals staffing, if you are a radio operator I have probably contacted you already. I would be grateful if people could let me have their availability for either one or both days.

Wales Rally GB 13th November 2010
As a number of members will recall we had a visit from Ray Barlow and Steve Gregg to the Club on Monday 12th July, whilst their visit was primarily to go over a few items with myself and the operating team, they did agree, and I believe gave, an interesting talk / question and answer on the event in general, thanks to Ray and Steve.
On a forward note, Steve (Henstock), Les (Merrill) and myself visited the stage today (25/07/10) in order to familiarise ourselves with what is needed; it will be “Very” fast.
As previously stated “all Marshalls” must (a) be registered with the MSA and (b) sign on with the Rally Stage Team (Internet Site), any difficulties contact Steve or myself. There will be security on the entrance to the stage and they will have the names OF ALL bonafida marshals, no name = no entry.
Anyone interested will have to (a) register, soon; and (b) let me know that you are coming, as unfortunately, and I apologise, I don’t know the names of all club members.
